Q1 When did you join Acuity?
'I joined Acuity in March 2012 – Wow, not sure where those years went!'
Q2 What is your role & key responsibilities?
'My role is to successfully implement Sage200Cloud software on new sites and to build relationships with customers. It is important to understand a customer’s reasons for changing software and ensure we overcome any shortcomings they have previously encountered with their old software. Changing software is a business process and involves change management. By building a positive relationship with our customers we hope to ensure that there is buy in from all levels of staff. This staff buy in is key to a successful project.'
Q3 In your opinion, what make’s Acuity different?
'The people. Acuity employs people from many diverse backgrounds. This creates a great mix of personalities. Everyone has different skill sets and everyone is always willing to help out in times of need. This vast amount of experience and team work, makes facing the challenges of new projects so much easier. As consultants we work with a customer throughout the implementation process ensuring that we have sight of the project from beginning to end – which is great.'
Q4 What are your key goals each month?
'The successful implementation of Sage200Cloud software, on time and with fully trained happy customers, confident in the use of their new software.'
Q5 What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
'As a trained ballet dancer and teacher I still love to dabble in the arts. I enjoy the theatre, go to art classes and galleries. Unfortunately I am not as active as I should be, so I enjoy long walks and hikes in the countryside. The community keeps me busy as a Friend of Rosehill Parks (we litter pick, plant and generally help in the local parks) and as Treasurer of the Rosehill Community Centre ( a community charity that runs a hall and provides services for disability charities and local people holding classes in Karate, table tennis, Yoga and dance) so time off passes by in a flash!'
